The Nikolov West Studio goes beyond just teaching notes and scales, but offers truly one-of-a-kind services that elevate the learning experience to new heights. At this studio, students don't just learn to play the piano, they embark on a personalized musical journey tailored to their individual goals, interests, and learning styles. What sets us apart is the holistic approach to music education. In addition to piano technique and repertoire, students also receive instruction in music theory, ear training, and even performance psychology. Through this comprehensive curriculum, students develop their technical skills and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of music as an art form.

We believe that a piano studio with community outreach stands out by actively engaging with its local roots. Hosting free concerts, providing scholarship opportunities, offerings free consultations, collaborating with schools and senior centers, as well as homeschool communities, is an ongoing experience. The NW Studio fosters a supportive learning environment where students have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, participate in ensemble performances, and even compose their own music. This emphasis on creativity and expression allows students to develop their unique musical voice.

What's Included?​

​Tuition rates start at $218 per month (we offer 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons): this monthly tuition price includes weekly private piano lessons (1:1 with instructor) and one 1 hour workshop/group class per month.​

Monthly workshop is reserved for piano masterclasses, covering artistry, technique, classical music, as well as modern music and jazz, among many other topics.

There are frequent appearances by guest artists and prominent performers giving lectures on various musical elements and challenges that students encounter learning the piano. Students also have the opportunity to hone their performance skills as they perform for each other and their teachers. ​​

Students receive lessons on state-of-the-art Steinway Grand Pianos in a facility that offers smaller classrooms and also larger gallery-space for rehearsals and concerts. This is also beneficial for those who seek preparations towards competitive events.​
